• Raise the profile of the marketing operations profession and give a forum to MOCCA members to share their knowledge and experience
Our history
MOCCA was founded in 2006 by Chris Ewert, Director of Marketing Operations of Adobe Systems, Inc. and Larissa DeCarlo, Sr. Director of Marketing Planning & Operations, of Hyperion Solutions to provide a forum for the development of the growing technology marketing operations community. The founders wished to bring together a range of marketing operations professionals to develop standards such as core competencies, success metrics, job codes and descriptions to help the marketing operations profession evolve and gain increased visibility and strategic value within technology companies. The founders also wished to Influence the research of key organizations such as IDC, MLC, SiriusDecisions, CMO Council, Hackett and McKinsey. Finally, the founders wanted to create a vibrant marketing operations community where professional peers across the industry could network, share best practices and learn from each other.
